Hey there!! My name is Samantha and I'm a photographer from Wilmington, NC. I decided to take my passion and turn it into a career a little over 2 years ago so I enrolled in photography classes and here I am!! Throughout my life many things have come and gone but one thing that has never left me is my love for a CAMERA!! I have always had one in my hand I am "THAT" family member who always has it in your face saying "smile!". Not everyone has loved this.. my Mother, included. I can't tell you how many times I ran from her so she wouldn't take my camera. I definitely think my years of annoyance paid off in the long run!! Thanks Mom!! Meeting new people is probably my favorite thing about being a photographer. Everyone is different and no 2 shoots are ever the same and that keeps my creative juices flowing! I LOVE LOVE LOVE using natural light and try to incorporate my favorite star (Our Sun) into my images as much as possible, sun flares and dreamy hazes are just gorgeous in my opinion! I love most types of photography but there is something about capturing the love between 2 people that pulls at my heart. Weddings are where it's at for me. I shed at least 1 tear at every wedding I shoot! I just cant help it when the Bride comes down the isle and sees her man waiting for her (usually with a big cheesy grin and watery eyes).. it touches my heart and makes me think of the love I have with my Hubby!!
